A  recently and beautifully restored independent farmhouse with typical tower (former mill) with  6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms (sleeping 10) or can be rented with 4 bedrooms (sleeping 7) is located on  a large organic farm estate  400 metes above sea level.  

The property overlooking a magnificent Tuscan lanscape of rolling hills dotted with umbrella pines and cypress trees punctuating the horizon  is located southeast of Siena on the way to Arezzo.  The nearest village is the medieval hilltop town of Lucignano only 5 minutes away with all shopping facilities and restaurants.  The natural hot springs of Rapolano Terme with two spas are not far and the hill towns of Monte San Savino, Sinalunga, Arezzo Montepulciano, Pienza, Cortona and Siena are all easily reached by car.  The Umbrian cities of Perugia & Orvieto are also within easy driving range and Rome is 2 hours by car.

On the ground floor is a large living and dining room with a fireplace and French windows leading onto a terrace covered in vines for al fresco meals. The well equipped kitchen has a marble-topped table for informal breakfasts, and an adjacent larder. Also on the ground floor is a single bedroom with shower and a laundry room.   The first floor has three double bedrooms and three bathrooms. Further sleeping arrangements are at the end of a typically Tuscan loggia on first the floor level where there is a double bedroom and a single bedroom sharing a bathroom.  The house is equipped with telephone, washing machine, dishwasher, large fridge and large freezer, CD-stereo, TV with DVD player, hair dryer, fans in all bedrooms and screens on all bedroom windows.  Pool 4,50 x 15 meters in the garden, with teak sun beds and deck chairs.  Vine covered pergola for outdoor meals.  3 hours of household help per day, 6 times a week is included in the rental.  Tuscan meals & additional household help available.   There are tennis courts in the next village Lucignagno at 3 km, mountain bikes can be hired there too. 7-night minimum stay.
