Molino (mill) is situated in the beautiful Tuscan countryside 25 miles to the southeast of Florence and 20 miles north of the historic city of Arezzo. The property is on the slopes of the Pratomagno mountain facing the Chianti hills to the west and just below the charming medieval village of Loro Ciuffenna  with small restaurants and shops. 

The five accommodations are open for rental from April to November and are available for rental by the week from Saturday to Saturday.  The total property may also be rented, including all five accommodations by the week for: family gatherings and or friends, theme weeks, e.g. cooking, yoga, wine and oil production and tasting.  Shorter stays of a minimum of 3 nights will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Maximum occupancy is 23 people.

The Molino had been a favorite property of many of our clients over the past 17 years.  We welcome them back as an active property with new and enhanced  activities to make your stay in Tuscany a unique pleasure.

The property contains ancient structures and farm buildings that have been restored traditionally, creating five attractive & comfortable accommodations in and around the main house. While the accommodations are unique to each lodging, they all possess characteristic charm:

     PADRONALE:  In the main house - sleeping 6 (7 with extra bed) with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms on two floors above ground level. On the 1st floor: 2 bedrooms.  One with double bed and en suite bathroom with shower and one with twin beds and 2nd bathroom with Jacuzzi tub. Fully equipped traditional kitchen with beamed ceiling, stone sink and fireplace, spacious living room with open fireplace and large outside partially covered terrace.  The 2nd floor has a large bedroom with double bed, large window with views over the property, dressing room with en suite bathroom with shower.

     LA CASETTA: On the 2nd level of the main house reached by outside stairway, sleeping 4 with two double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms each with shower, kitchen dining living room with open fireplace and large terrace.

      LE STALLE:  On ground level, sleeping 4/5 with 2 double bedrooms (one with 4 poster bed),  kitchen/dining living room, 1bathroom with shower and tub and private patio garden with pergola.

      LA STANZINA:  On the ground floor sleeping 3 with 1 double bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower and 1 small single bedroom, small living dining room with kitchenette and small patio.

      LA CAPANNA IS A SMALL SEPARATE HOUSE:  On the 2nd level reached by outside stairway sleeping 4 in 2 double bedrooms, one with open fireplace, kitchen/ dining living room and 2 bathrooms each with shower.  Large terrace with views of the vineyards and countryside.

      A large swimming pool with Jacuzzi corner,  mini-gym, sauna, soccer and volley ball area,  ping pong, meditation area and possibility of Thai massage. Fast Internet connection available in the Office. Other optional activities in the area include:  horseback riding, tennis, mountain biking, hiking (including walks with guides in nature reserves with translation into English), learning about the regional cuisines of Italy by participating in cooking classes and/or wine tasting, painting classes, yoga and meditation classes.
