A beautiful and recently restored farmhouse
with spectacular views of the vineyards and hilltop towns of the Montalcino
area, about 20 miles south of Siena and a 20 minute drive from Montalcino in the
famous Brunello wine region. The old stone farmhouse with 4 bedrooms and 4
en-suite bathrooms, sleeping 8 people dates back to the 18th century having
evolved to what it is today. A charming house perched above a wide valley
with a fine view of olive groves and vineyards, and the charming hilltop town of
Colle Sant'Angelo in the distance. The house has been restored to the highest standards and decorated with taste, using a few choice antiques, comfortable sofas and chairs, attractive thick cotton stripes and checks from famous weavers in Arezzo and Pienza.. Outdoor steps lead up to an arched loggia which opens onto the spacious living room. Another loggia on the ground floor leads into the kitchen.. On the ground floor is a large living area and kitchen with french windows leading to the front of house and the garden with pergola. There is a family room with TV, comfortable sofas and a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. On the 2nd floor is a another loggia, large living room with fireplace, a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and 2 twin bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The grounds include a vine covered pergola with table and chairs for outdoor meals a Pool of 4 x 15 meters, outdoor shower and landscaped garden with oak trees, lavender, roses, broom, rosemary and sage. This side of the house is exposed to the west with wonderful sunsets. Tuscan meals and additional household help available. 7-night minimum stay.  Tuscan meals and additional household help
